The two may well be sisters or cousins - which would make Agostino and Rosa relatives (cousins) marrying within the Nissoria Rinaldi network. The Province of Enna was created in 1927 from parts of the provinces of Catania and Caltanissetta - so before 1927 Nissoria belonged to the PROVINCE OF CATANIA. This reconciles the Basile records: 'Cattanea' (Catania) on the 1908 birth certificate is the province; Nissoria (read off the 1906 manifest's place-of-birth column) is the town.
