Caroline Woolley, née Smith, was born about 1823–1826 at Wolverhampton, Staffordshire Confirmed. She married James Woolley, a cabinet lock maker, at Wolverhampton St Peter on 17 March 1844, and they raised their family at Wolverhampton; their daughter Emma Ann Woolley married (secondly) Samuel Joliffe and carried the line to Bristol. Caroline's father was a Mr S. Smith; she died in 1888.
