Biographical Information

Angelina Lo Cascio, a daughter of Carlo Lo Cascio and Antonina Lo Verde and a sister of Rose and Michael, is the long-elusive Locascio sister the family remembered marrying "an Ingo" Confirmed. She married Joseph "Joe" Ingo at Chicago and they had a son, Carlo Raymond Ingo (b. 13 March 1913) — named, in the Sicilian custom, for her own father Carlo Lo Cascio. On 2 April 1914 her husband Joe was shot dead at Milton & Hobbie Streets in Little Sicily, and her brother Michael Lo Cascio was named the prime suspect in the killing — the vendetta running straight through the family. Fourteen months later her mother Antonina was assassinated on the family doorstep.

Her son Carlo R Ingo's 1991 Cook County death record names his parents as Joseph Ingo (1887–1914) and Angelina Lacascio; the SSA NUMIDENT gives the same couple ("Joe Ingo" & "Angiliena Lacadico") as Carlo Raymond Ingo's parents. Four independent threads converge on her being Carlo & Antonina's daughter: (1) the Lacascio/Lo Cascio surname; (2) her son named Carlo after the maternal grandfather (Sicilian custom, the same tell that fixed Rose and Rocco); (3) her husband Joe Ingo was the 1914 murder victim in whose death her brother Michael was the suspect; (4) the family's own recollection that a Lo Cascio sister "married an Ingo."Confirmed
